Product Description

Common use

Panadia is used to treat infections caused by certain bacteria. It is a tertacycline antibiotic. It slows the growth of sensitive bacteria by interfering with the production of proteins needed by the bacteria to grow. It allows the body's defense mechanisms to destroy them.

Dosage and directions

Take Panadia orally on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating. Take Panadia with a full glass of water. Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking Panadia. If you also take antacids containing aluminum, calcium, or magnesium; preparations containing bismuth, iron, zinc, or sodium bicarbonate; or calcium rich foods (eg, milk, dairy products, calcium-enriched juices), do not take them within 2 to 3 hours before or after taking Panadia. Check with your doctor if you have questions. To clear up your infection completely, take Panadia for the full course of treatment. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days.

Before using Panadia discuss with your doctor all conditions you may have, especially the following:
you have kidney or liver problems, if you have allergy to medicines, foods and other substances, if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are breastfeeding; if you are taking any medicine prescribed or not prescribed, herbal products, or dietary supplements; if you have diarrhea, a stomach infection, or kidney problems.
